Ticket scanning app

Among the products related to the world of events and ticketing systems that the company offer to the clients, this web app provide users with the ability to create scan sessions for any kind of event, manage multiple events simultaneously and have multi-user ready with multiple user-levels.

The main problem:

The previous version was not created under UX standards, mixed content and a difficult user flow.

The solution:

Redesign the web portal in a way that allows users to create session scans for events in an easy and intuitive way, as well as special features for large events with multiple entries and multiple people scanning. Also in the mobile app, the creation of an interface that facilitates the user experience.

Discover & Ideation

Identify the personas in the app and their pain points they had when using it to later crafted different user journeys for our personas to offer different levels of customization depending on their needs.

Is the moment to implement the best possible navigation structure. and then, how to use that information architecture to redesign navigation menus, content classification and page layout for the web portal and mobile app.

Sketching & Prototyping

In this phase we tried to discover different ideas by simply drawing them on paper, defining solutions, creating prototypes and testing them in many iterations. Fortunately some of the solutions failed and that’s how we knew what we had to change. We had to come up with new ideas which at the end led to a better user experience.
